Innovez One has won the “Barge Navigation Predictor – Optimizing Barging Operations” challenge, powered by CMA CGM Vietnam, at ZEBOX’s Challenge for Impact Vietnam 2026.

The final took place on 15 October at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of France Vietnam Forward. David Yeo, Founder and Group CEO of Innovez One, received the award on behalf of the company.

This recognition highlights the potential to bring the capabilities of our established marineM platform to inland barging, helping operators plan with greater confidence, coordinate operations more effectively and keep cargo moving.

Building on what marineM already does

marineM already supports maritime operators with vessel visibility, berth planning, and the scheduling and coordination of marine services. Across pilotage, towage and other port activities, the platform helps teams plan resources, coordinate operations and respond to changing schedules.

These are challenges that extend beyond the port itself. Barge operators and terminals also need reliable plans, clear visibility and the ability to respond when operations do not unfold as expected. The setting is different, but many of the operational needs are familiar.

Our approach builds on that established foundation. Rather than starting from scratch, we are largely recalibrating and adapting capabilities already within marineM to the requirements of barging operations. The focus is on bringing the platform’s existing strengths to a connected part of the logistics chain.

Better outcomes across the barge journey

For operators, the value lies in what better planning makes possible: more coordinated movements, better use of available resources and berths, and greater confidence in day-to-day decisions.

Inland barge journeys connect terminals, ports and onward ocean services. Disruption at one point can affect the rest of the journey. Our aim is to help teams maintain a clearer operational picture and adapt their plans more effectively, with the intended benefits of reducing avoidable waiting and lowering the risk of missed connections.

By extending marineM’s established capabilities to this environment, we see an opportunity to support more predictable, coordinated operations across the inland-to-ocean journey.

Taking the next step with ZEBOX

We thank ZEBOX, CMA CGM Vietnam, the jury and the wider Challenge for Impact community for this recognition. We also thank the Innovez One team whose work on marineM provides the foundation for this opportunity.

Our focus remains the same: helping maritime operators plan better, use resources more effectively and respond confidently to change.
