JEWELRY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

EJS Inventory Control and Management system tracks key measures of jewelry inventory such as product information details, inventory levels (based on current in-stock holdings, consignments, incoming shipments), approximate dates of incoming shipments, product shipments, product suppliers information, product pricing information.

JEWELRY CATALOG SYSTEM

EJS allows you to browse and find jewelry product designs stored in the database. One key feature is you can generate on-the-fly PDF brochures of product designs that your customer requests for. You can then email or fax him the product brochures.

JEWELRY PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR MANAGEMENT

EJS lets you add unlimited jewelry product design with varied configurations. EJS provides a product configurator that you use to create a new product in your catalog. The system also provides tools that manage every detail of a new product including :

(1) Define a new product category, and other information such as product code.
(2) Define product physical characteristics such as weight and length
(3) Define loose items such as metal type, metal colour, loose precious stones information
(4) Add supplier information for this product
(5) Define pricing scheme

LOOSE ITEMS CONFIGURATOR MANAGEMENT

Create loose items information such as precious metal configurations and loose gems information. Loose Items form the basic building blocks of your jewelry product configurations. The design of EJS enables you to accurately describe the products that you are carrying.

HIERARCHY JEWELRY INFORMATION DISPLAY

EJS Inventory displays the rows of information by a pre-defined hierarchy so that it is easy for you to find the exact information that you need. The hierarchy first displays by category (e.g. bracelet, ring, chain etc), then precious properties, and then the product itself.

SALES/PURCHASE FUNCTIONS INTEGRATED

From the Inventory screen, you can select the items to create new sales order or add selected product designs to create new supplier purchase orders.

ALL IN ONE SCREEN DISPLAY

EJS Inventory system uses “tabs” to present key product information in multi-layer information views. The primary benefit is that you do not have to switch between screens to get the information you need. E.g. If you want information about the suppliers for a particular product, simply select the product on the main panel, and click on the “Suppliers” tab.

ADVANCED SEARCHING TOOL

EJS Advanced Searching combines all the elements that describe a jewelry product to make it easy for you to retrieve a single jewelry item or a group of jewelry items. A special feature is called a “keyword” search. You can tag product designs with special keywords such as “butterfly” that intimately describe the item. By keying in “butterfly” in the keyword field, the search results will return all the items with this tag name.

INTEGRATED BARCODE/RFID TECHNOLOGY

EJS Inventory Management is fully integrated with barcode and RFID technology. Using RFID however has added many advantages over barcode. This includes 5 – 10 times faster scanning speed, greater transparency of supply chain management, enjoy amortized costs.
