For instance a user, operating in the role of “Department Room Booker”, wishes to book a room. The user can opt to book a room from his or her own department or one from other departments. Such an option, however, is not open to users who are individually authorised.

In EAM, user passwords are integral with the school’s current authentication system. Therefore, users just have to remember a pair of User Name and Password to lock on. Once verified, EAM establishes what Enterprise applications the user is permitted to use and their permissions. The authentication system contains information on users and their role or roles.
